19 August 2010: Widality to make major announcements at the BlackBerry Devcon 2010
Today Widality announced that it is sponsoring RIM's flagship developer event, Devcon 2010, being held in San Francisco on 27 – 30 September. The official website is www.blackberrydevcon.com.
At Devcon, Widality will be announcing a number of new initiatives and will be launching a new version of its award-winning Momentem Blackberry app and service. Widality has recently been acquired by a major provider of app services, details of which will be published on this website very soon, and as such the new bigger Widality wishes to stamp its mark on the BlackBerry ecosystem by sponsoring the event and by having several members of the team there. Widality's new strategy will also be unveiled, which will resonate with every developer and app provider attending the conference.
It's a busy time for Widality; just a few days prior to Devcon, Terry Hughes (Widality's President) is a panel moderator at the Verizon Devcon 2010 in Las Vegas, and on the last day of the RIM Devcon he is attending Mobilize 2010, GigaOM's prestigious wireless event, also in San Francisco. Then it's the CTIA Fall exhibition and conference a few days later, also in San Francisco!
