April 26 2010: 1 in every 100 App World users have downloaded momentem

In Orlando FL, at RIM's ISV Alliance Summit, RIM announced that 20M people have now downloaded BlackBerry App World, RIM's on-device app store. To coincide with this, Widality announced that 1 in every 100 people that have downloaded App World have also then gone on to download Call Time Tracker by momentem, one of the most popular business apps on App World.

Terry Hughes, Widality's President, said: "When you consider that there are 6500 apps on App World, it's a staggering achievement for us to be able to announce that 1 in every 100 people has downloaded our app. This clearly shows the widespread utility of call tagging and call tracking among the BlackBerry user community, and it highlights how our app description ‘make more money, recover more costs by categorizing your calls' resonates with so many people who are browsing App World."
